This past week I had the opportunity to attend the Great Lakes Institute of Photography in Bay City, and it was an experience I won’t soon forget. Being surrounded by so many talented photographers, artists, and educators was both inspiring and energizing.

One of the highlights for me was teaching a class alongside Pete Rezac. Sharing ideas, techniques, and real-world experiences with fellow photographers made the entire event incredibly rewarding. There’s something special about connecting with people who are passionate about creativity and storytelling through images.

From the classes and conversations to the friendships and inspiration, the whole experience reminded me why I love photography so much. I came home motivated, grateful, and excited to continue creating and growing.
